https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=23874 Bug ID: 23874 Summary: [WebVTT] Should there be support for <rp>? Product: TextTracks CG Version: unspecified Hardware: PC OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: WebVTT Assignee: silviapfeiffer1@gmail.com Reporter: fs@opera.com QA Contact: dave.null@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-texttracks@w3.org Prompted by http://crbug.com/150927 . Should <rp> tags be allowed under <ruby> tags? Currently they will be treated as "unrecognized", and hence end being dropped. As can be seen in the screenshot in the bug referenced above, this can give rise to odd-looking rendering even in UAs that support Ruby. (The rendering in non-supporting UAs will get pretty longwinded though...) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
