Bug ID: 21230
Summary: [WebVTT] specify extension points in syntax spec
Classification: Unclassified
Product: TextTracks CG
Version: unspecified
Hardware: PC
OS: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: WebVTT
Assignee: ian@hixie.ch
Reporter: silviapfeiffer1@gmail.com
QA Contact: dave.null@w3.org
CC: mike@w3.org, public-texttracks@w3.org
People that don't read the parsing rules do not understand what possibilities
the file format has for adding things such as metadata headers. That needs to
be clarified.
Also add a notice at syntax specification that implementers need to read the
parsing section.
