https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=19465 Priority: P2 Bug ID: 19465 CC: mike@w3.org, public-texttracks@w3.org Assignee: ian@hixie.ch Summary: Parsing issue with --> in cue QA Contact: dave.null@w3.org Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Windows NT Reporter: cyril.concolato@telecom-paristech.fr Hardware: PC Status: NEW Version: unspecified Component: WebVTT Product: TextTracks CG Bug https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=17558 describes that --> needs to be banned from the allowed syntax in cue data. However, when XML data is carried in metadata tracks, the XML comments end tag uses the sequence of characters -->. This should be acceptable to a parser, since metadata tracks don't use escapes. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
