Thanks, David, for Chairing, and for getting things started.

I work for Mozilla, and am implementing text track support in Firefox.
I'm also working on WebRTC and other media-related projects there.

I joined the Firefox project just a few months ago, but I've contributed
to the Xiph.Org foundation efforts to develop free and open media
technologies for much of the past ten years, so I have a deep interest
in the topic at hand.

My main interest in this group is to develop concensus for a baseline
format all the browsers can implement.
