OK, with the resources identified and the conversations managed, it's time to introduce the players and take some parts. There are a quite a few documents we should develop; please scan the group's scope, the Wiki, and so on, and if you feel moved to be more focused in one area than in others, step up! In your introductory email, or later, say "I'd like to get going on XXX". That enables people who have similar interests know - and allows us to find where we have a lack of leadership, etc., as well. I'll start a thread "introducing myself", and if you could all respond to that email (so it ends up as one thread), with something brief, that would be great. Finally, TPAC is next week. I'll send a separate note about whether people would like to get together (e.g. over lunch one day) at TPAC. David Singer Multimedia and Software Standards, Apple Inc.
