After our first call of the year (notes here: https://www.w3.org/community/tdmrep/2023/04/06/notes-april-4th-2023/), Giulia and I had some discussions with some legal experts from the publishing industry about AI vs our work, and we got more information from the EU Commission.

I also had the opportunity to participate to IPTC discussions (https://iptc.org/, the global standards body of the news media).
Michael Steidl, Managing Director of the IPTC, has accepted to share with us the approach taken be their group for embedding TDM and AI opt-out in news items. This approach has been inspired by what we did and what the C2PA working group did also.
