RE: Reminder: Kickoff date for the TDM Reservation Protocol CG

Hi all,

My name is Vanessa Perchenet, I am a functional architect at Lefebvre Sarrut, based in Paris.
Lefebvre Sarrut is a European group of services in the field of legal and tax knowledge. We combine our expertise in publishing (Dalloz, Editions Législatives, Francis Lefebvre, SDU, Giuffrè, Indicator, ...), training (Elegia, CSP, Dalloz Formation, Francis Lefebvre Formation) and software.
Lefebvre Sarrut is established in 8 European countries and is aimed at all professionals, companies and public and private consultants - whether they work in the field of law, human resources or financial management.

We work on data innovation (open data, NLP, metadata, security, ...) and on the diffusion and protection of our data online. We are also very interested in working with the text and Data Mining Reservation Protocol Working Group.

Best regards,

Vanessa Perchenet

Objet : Re: Reminder: Kickoff date for the TDM Reservation Protocol CG

Hi all,

I'm subscribed to this list under my personal email address but I'm the MD of IPTC, https://iptc.org/ - "The IPTC is the global standards body of the news media. We provide the technical foundation for the news ecosystem." Our members include many of the largest news media organisations in Europe, North America and beyond.

We are also the group behind RightsML, which is referenced in the "Past and existing initiatives" page https://github.com/w3c/tdm-reservation-protocol/blob/main/docs/initiatives.md.

Laurent presented his work at IPTC's member meeting back in October. We are interested in tracking this project and possibly helping out if it joins up with any of our existing work.

Unfortunately I now have a doctor's appointment just before this meeting starts so I will probably be late to the call.

Best wishes,

Brendan.

Dear participants in the Text and Data Mining Reservation Protocol CG (TDMrep in short), this is a reminder of today's Zoom meeting.

The kickoff of the project will happen on Tuesday 23 Feb, 16:00 UTC (local datetime via dateandtime<https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=kickoff+TDMRep&iso=20210223T16&p1=1440&ah=1>) and will last one hour.

We will use Zoom for the call, please contact the co-chairs now to get the Zoom details. laurent.lemeur@edrlab.org<mailto:laurent.lemeur@edrlab.org> or giulia.marangoni@aie.it<mailto:giulia.marangoni@aie.it>. If you're not able to join the call you can contact us and we’ll be happy to follow up separately.

The proposed agenda is as following:

  * brief presentation of the participants.
  * Q/A on the context<https://github.com/w3c/tdm-reservation-protocol> of this project
  * review of the proposed charter<https://github.com/w3c/tdm-reservation-protocol/blob/main/charter.md>
  * review of the proposed vocabulary<https://github.com/w3c/tdm-reservation-protocol/blob/main/docs/vocabulary.md>
  * review of the proposed requirements<https://github.com/w3c/tdm-reservation-protocol/blob/main/docs/requirements.md>
  * decision of the frequency and preferred date-time for the next calls.

Please read these documents before the call. Please also drop 3 lines presenting yourself and your interest for the CG on the public-tdmrep@w3.org<mailto:public-tdmrep@w3.org> mailing list, so that we don’t spend too much time on the initial roundtable.

Best regards,
Giulia and Laurent, co-chai
