Hello all, some updates on progress with suggesting properties to schema.org and next steps *1.* A draft for the next version of schema.org <https://webschemas.org/docs/releases.html> (v4, new numbering system) [1] is being reviewed with the intention of a release in mid-October. This draft includes our totalJobOpenings <https://webschemas.org/totalJobOpenings> and employmentUnit <https://webschemas.org/employmentUnit> properties. It also includes new terms for EducationalOccupationalProgram <https://webschemas.org/EducationalOccupationalProgram> and WorkBasedProgram <https://webschemas.org/WorkBasedProgram> which may be tangentially interesting to this group. See https://webschemas.org/docs/releases.html for more (this is staging site for schema.org drafts) *2. *I have proposed <https://github.com/schemaorg/schemaorg/issues/2322> to schema.org the changes that came from our discussion on referring skills requirements to competency definitions <https://www.w3.org/community/talent-signal/wiki/Referring_skills_requirements_to_competency_definitions>. The proposal was too late for the current draft release but the next release should not be too long in coming. *3.* Discussions have continued on the issues around competences and credentials that my posting of a domain sketch prompted. I'll summarize what I think the conclusions are for this group separately. I'll send this next week. *4.* I think we can proceed to the next to the next topic for consideration. I suggest we discuss the requirements of several distinct types other than competencies & credentials: citizenship, physical, security, sensory. If no one have a more pressing issue, I'll kick this off next week. Finally, I will be in DC for the USCCF Talent Forward <https://www.uschamberfoundation.org/event/TalentForward2019> conference on the 24 October, I would love to meet you there. If you are attending, keep an eye open for a jet-lagged Brit and say hi.
