Re: [TalentSignal] proposal for Job Start Date

Thank you all for our discussions on job start date.

I have created an issue on the schema.org github repository about the 
need to allow the start date to be specified in a JobPosting 
<https://github.com/schemaorg/schemaorg/issues/2244>, and have submitted 
a pull request proposing to add two properties 
<https://github.com/schemaorg/schemaorg/pull/2247> as discussed here.

I have also created a drafting and testing site for this group which 
shows schema.org as it would look /if/ our proposals are accepted. The 
simplest start point is the JobPosting page 
<https://sdo-talent-signal.appspot.com/JobPosting>, which you will see 
has jobStartDate and jobImmediateStart, as well as the changes we 
discussed to occupationalCategory. Please do not refer other people to 
this page, in particular do not in any way imply that it is a preview or 
official draft of schema.org.
