RE: Request to report the status of the specs

Hi Wonsuk and all in SysApps,

Status is as follows:


·        TCP and UDP Socket API: A new version based on WHAT WG Streams API, https://github.com/whatwg/streams , has been submitted, http://sysapps.github.io/tcp-udp-sockets/. Discussions on this rewrite is done in https://github.com/whatwg/streams/issues/64. Please note that so far only interface TCPSocket has been rewritten. I am now continuing with UDP and TCPServer interfaces. Also please note that on the SysApps main page, http://www.w3.org/2012/sysapps/, the name of the API should be changed from “Raw Socket API” to “TCP and UDP Socket API” and the link to the internal draft is still incorrect.

·        A proposal for an Application Management API has been submitted, http://app-management.sysapps.org/. Github Repo is: https://github.com/sysapps/app-management/. Note that this is currently just an extract of section 4 from the old deprecated Runtime & Security Model specification. I have also, based on requests from the WG, added a short section on use case in the introduction section. If WG accepts to work on this specification my first action will be to rewrite the API to be based on Promises.

San Jose F2F meeting is closing so I would like to ask you to share the status of the specs including blocker and outstanding issues. We will have two days meeting in San Jose, it's shorter than typical our f2f meeting. So it need to handle a discussion time for items more efficiently.
