Hi. Dave. Thanks for quick progress on it! All of list you has done are fine to me! Best regards, Wonsuk. From: Dave Raggett [mailto:dsr@w3.org] Sent: Tuesday, March 05, 2013 4:44 AM To: public-sysapps@w3.org Subject: Draft FPWD for contacts manager API I've prepared a draft FPWD for the contacts manager API. Here are the changes I had to make: 1. changed name from contacts API to contacts manager API since the former short name is already in use in the Device APIs working group. The new name "Contacts Manager API" better reflects the purpose of the SysApps contacts API. 2. noted that future versions of this spec are expected to align the data model with the contacts API being defined by the Device APIs working group as noted in: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-sysapps/2013Mar/0022.html 3. added the distinct paragraph to the status of this document as required by pub rules This document defines a System Level API to manage the user's contacts that are stored in the system's address book. Future versions of this specification are expected to align the contact data model with the <http://www.w3.org/TR/contacts-api> contacts API being defined by the Device APIs Working Group. 4. added a <dd> explanation to section 6.1 to pass the html5 validator oncontactschange of type EventHandler May be used to set an event handler to be called when contacts are added, deleted or changed in some way. The draft can be found at: http://www.w3.org/2012/sysapps/drafts/contacts-manager-api/ If this is satisfactory, I will proceed to ask the W3C webmaster to publish the spec as a FPWD, once we have Director's approval as is required for first public working drafts. Otherwise, please let me know what non-normative changes are needed. -- Dave Raggett <mailto:dsr@w3.org> <dsr@w3.org> http://www.w3.org/People/Raggett
