'name' is one of the rare renamings in the ContactsAPI, simply because experience has shown 'fn' causes more confusion than understanding (lots of experience with this with microformats) - which ironically provides the only known counter-example to the anglo-renaming anti-pattern. It turned out that nearly everyone who starts with vCard over the years as the basis of their data model, *does* rename "fn" and happen to nearly always rename it "name". This is in contrast to all other property renamings which have been historically divergent and thus undesirable. I have no idea why Pick Contacts chose 'displayname'. Thanks, Tantek
