And as it happens, I suspect that the controversy over whether Gallery ought to be built atop FileSystem, or if using IndexedDB is enough, or if it should ride on Intents, or other alternatives boils down to just taste preferences. I think that there are real architectural issues hiding in there. It would therefore probably make sense for the group to work on this one with its mind set on figuring out not just what the disagreements are but why they are there and what the implications of each approach are.
