Dear Collegues, please allow me to point you to the attached call for papers: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 14th International Conference on Concurrent Enterprising Lisboa, Portugal, 23-25 June 2008 Workshop "Turning the idea of a Single European Electronic Market into reality" Call for papers The organisers of the workshop Turning the idea of a Single European Electronic Market into reality, which will be a part of the 14th International Conference on Concurrent Enterprising Lisboa, Portugal, 23-25 June 2008 http://www.ice-conference.org invite contributions for this half-day workshop. Workshop aims to meet studies, projects and initiatives related to Single European Electronic Market ( SEEM ) and electronical catalogization and to start the process of possible interconnection and cooperation of individual results of related developments and researches into a logical complex. Workshop Abstract The organisers invite papers or presentations to be presented and / or published at this event. Submissions are invited on SEEM and electronical catalogization related work and research in the topics of the workshop. This includes, but is not limited to: - State of the art of the SEEM approach - Common points of interests - Possibilities of cooperation between projects and researchers - Trust and security in the area of data exchange - Ability of the projects to be multilingual - Ability of the project to be accesible to SMEs and individuals - Ability of the projects to cross the borders - Planning of next steps and common activities Based on the selection, organisers will allocate submissions for oral presentation and for publishing in a special workshop’s proceedings.Papers and presentations will only be accepted for publishing on the condition that the material has not been copy-righted, published or currently submitted for consideration elsewhere. Speakers will be allocated 20-25 minutes for presentation and discussion of their paper. Papers All papers will be peer reviewed and selected by the workshop committee based on the contribution to the goals of the workshop, the shared interests of other participants, promoting diversity and variety in topics and approaches, and likelihood to promote discussion and collaboration. Please send papers in Word format (DOC or RTF) to josefw@tiscali.cz and please format papers using Springer LNCS style (see www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html for details). All accepted papers will be published in the workshop proceedings ( as mentioned above ) after the end of workshop. This proceedings with ISBN number will be distributed to the participants of the workshop. Recommended printing length of all final papers is 8 pages and in the correct format. Depending on the use of figures and bibliography this allows for 1800-2400 words.
