UDDI Registry?

 
Dear all,
 
I read this "The IBM, Microsoft and SAP public UDDI registries are shutting down as of January 12, 2006." in this link: http://java.sun.com/webservices/docs/2.0/ReleaseNotes.html. Does anybody know the reason for the shuting down?
