See the press release: http://www.w3.org/2006/03/saws-pressrelease If you are interested in SWS technology and it reaching standardization (or just wider adoption), then now is a good time to show interest in and energy for SWS standards, their implementation, and their deployment. Concrete details about concrete needs are especially good things to articulate publically! If there are community and consensus building tools people would like the interest group to support (e.g., wikis, what have you). I'll note that there's been a mostly moribund IRC channel with associated collaborative weblog: http://www.w3.org/2002/ws/swsig/#irc http://www.w3.org/2002/ws/swsig/scratchpad/2006/03/13/2006-03-13.html There is also an ESW Wiki page about Semantic Web Services: http://esw.w3.org/topic/WebServicesAndSemantics and regular ole Web Services: http://esw.w3.org/topic/WebServices Cheers, Bijan.
