Invitation for a one-day workshop on the Semantic web and Web services

Hi list,

We at the Nottingham Trent University are organizing a one-day workshop
entitled: “Challenges and Promise of Semantic Web services”, in order to
facilitate the presentation and exchange of research findings in the
fields of the Semantic web and Web intelligence.

The intended date for the workshop is Wednesday 6th of September with
Key presentations starting at 10am. This will be followed by
sub-workshops looking into the success stories of semantic web
technologies and implementation problems of web services composition
(orchestration) techniques. The output of the sub-workshops is presented
to other participants in the following session. The day will finish by
discussing the possibility of organising a formally sponsored, annual UK
workshop in the field of Semantic Web services/Web intelligence. Please
find the detailed program of the day below.

We will charge a nominal registration fee of £20 to cover the workshops
costs. The workshop results will be collated and disseminated to all
participants.
