Hi, As discussed in many articles and talks that OWL-S Process Model is an orchestration language like BPEL4WS. Like BPEL4WS process model, OWL-S ProcessModel can be used to define composition between different services and defining control flow between different services (process components) within a composition by using Control Constructs e.g. Sequence, IfThenElse etc. Concurrent execution of process components with in an OWL-S composite process can be defined by using OWL-S “Split Control Construct and in BPEL “Flow activity can be used to do same job. Synchronization between process components with in an OWL-S Composite process can be defined by using “SplitJoin Control Construct while in BPEL we can use “Links with in a “Flow activity to define synchronization between activities. Now comes my Question: I have read OWL-S specification in detail but i was not able to find how we can use "SplitJoin" control construct to create synchronization between process components as we use "Links" in BPEL for synchronization between activities. According to my point of view there are no much specification and details about "SplitJoin" Control Construct and about level of synchronization and ways to create synchronization between process components, in OWL-S specifications. If some one has any idea or good understanding on this issues i will be thankfull for help in this regard. Thanks in advance and Bye.
