After a hard first year of designing, launching and publishing IJSWIS we are happy that the final outcome was really of high quality and the published research papers promote the discipline. Have a look at the relevant table of contents at: <http://www.idea-group.com/journals/tocVolumes.asp?id=4625> http://www.idea-group.com/journals/tocVolumes.asp?id=4625

At the beggining of the second year of publication the International Journal of Semantic Web and Information Systems is targeting to the sustainability of the publication with an increased interest to the highest possible quality of publication. Your support towards these two critical milestones is more than significant.

Let me explain you how you could help:

Our Publishers have set a really low price for the subscribers: Individual: $85.00 US Annually - Institution: $195.00 US Annually. Eventhough individual's price is extremely low I would kindly ask you to consider recommending IJSWIS to your library. Please use the following form: <http://www.idea-group.com/recommend.asp?ID=4625> http://www.idea-group.com/recommend.asp?ID=4625 . Given the fact that SW community is served by very few journals it is very important for our community to support and to strengthen the current publications since they provide a unique publication outlet for the SW,CS and IS communities. I think that every library can bear the cost of 195.00$ per year!

I would be more than happy to have a feedback on my concerns and especially on ideas on how to make IJSWIS better and better every year. Our EIC, Prof. Amit Sheth will very soon provide a report on the achievements of the first year of publication of IJSWIS.
