  Dear Sir/Madam,



We are pleased to inform that Information and Networking Day, organised by
the Unit CNECT G3 "Data Value Chain", will take place on 15-16 January 2014
in Conference Centre of the European Commission in Luxembourg Kirchberg -
Jean Monnet Building.



The registration *is now open*. You are invited to register on line on
the Event's
page<https://ec.europa.eu/digital-agenda/en/news/information-and-networking-days-data-value-chain-and-language-technologies>.
The registration is on the first-come-first-serve basis and the closing
date is *8 January 2014*.



*Programme*



The aim of the event is to inform and assist prospective proposers
preparing project proposals, to facilitate sharing of ideas and
experiences. It will give participants the chance to network, to find
partners for their projects and get feedback on proposal ideas from
officials of the European Commission.



Day 1 of the event will focus on the following objectives included in the
Horizon 2020 work programme 2014-2015:



ICT 15 – 2014 Big data Innovation and take-up

ICT 16 – 2015 Big data-research (overview, as the call is not yet open)

ICT 17 – 2014 Cracking the language barrier

ICT 22.a – 2014 Multimodal and Natural computer interaction



Day 2 of the event is devoted to the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) and
will have two parallel tracks:



Automated Translation

Open Data Infrastructure

If you wish to schedule a face to face meeting with a European Commission
official concerning your project idea, please tick this option in the
online registration form ("proposal clinics"). Your slot will be confirmed
and communicated to you at the registration desk.

After the registration you can also upload a presentation for the
networking and partner finding sessions.



*Registration and terms of participation*



Participation is free of charge but subject to prior registration and
confirmation. Travel and accommodation expenses must be borne by the
participants and will not be reimbursed by the European Commission.
