I’ve always felt the “social web” is, by nature, a multi-protocol effort, ActivityPub and AT clearly have their place, and hopefully next year Solid/LinkedWebStorage will join them as a W3C REC. To me, the Social Web should be broader in scope, and over time I hope SWICG can align to that bigger mission. ActivityPub itself already has a dedicated CG, which seems like the natural future home for that specific work. That would leave the SWICG as a welcoming intersection where the different pieces meet, inclusive, diverse, and open to all. Just my 2 cents > > > Yours, > Emelia Smith >
