Oh this sounds excellent and something I and probably others have been
thinking about for sometime. Ideally the API would be designed not to be
limited to a single protocol but be able to support an facilitate a number
of existing protocols and ideally any new ones that come along. It would be
good if we could support ActivityPub, AT Protocol, and nostr for a start.
