Summary of group call - portability TF

Attending: Lisa Dusseault, Evan P. Bumblefudge, Aaron Gray, Dmitri
Zagidulin

Topics: We talked about a specific architecture and proposal for
destination-initiated AP account transfer, and what use cases that would
and wouldn't solve. We called the specific architecture "Lola" because
things are easier to refer to when you name them. We discussed the
feasibility of using OAuth to authorize the access that a destination
server would need to the original account, in lieu of HTTP sig, mostly
because of smoothing user UX and because OAuth supports scopes which seems
useful as a door left open for future work. Many other choices would have
to be made for Lola to describe reasonably complete account transfer
interop: how to access content, follow and block lists, groups; also how
servers should be expected to facilitate redirects and account closure if
requested by the original account holder.

We also talked about how this work is consistent with ongoing work on use
cases and requirements, and with formation of a WG -- we'd propose Lola be
included in the charter of such a WG if there is consensus to do so.

Next steps: Lisa is following up with possible co-authors on the specific
proposal, and I think Dmitri will include the WG charter suggestions.
