I'm happy to say that a has volunteered to edit the CG report on an ActivityPub profile for Webfinger. I'll be backing them up as co-editor. The goal is to collect information on current use of Webfinger for AP; give directions for implementers to get started with best practices; and point towards future work that can be done. We have a repository on GitHub for the ActivityPub Webfinger profile: https://github.com/swicg/activitypub-webfinger There's a skeleton report document using the reSpec framework; it's now publishing directly here on GitHub pages: https://swicg.github.io/activitypub-webfinger/ I added some issues to the repo for things I'd like to see in the report: https://github.com/swicg/activitypub-webfinger/issues Please use this repo for your own wishlist and questions.
