So, we approved a Geosocial task force at our last meeting. We now have a repository for Geosocial TF work: https://github.com/swicg/geosocial There is an initial set of user stories for Geosocial activities: https://github.com/swicg/geosocial/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+label%3A%22user+story%22 I think the next steps for the task force are: 1. Schedule a regular meeting. I think Thursday at 1PM ET is looking like a good time - Dmitri, can we book that time for a monthly meeting on the second Thursday of the month? 2. Agree on scope. Exploring the space is definitely interesting. We could produce a report, and possibly tests or a reference implementation. This seems like a good discussion to have at the first meeting. 3. Leads. I got this started, and Jeremiah Lee is also a committer on the repo. I've asked a couple of other interested people -- we'll see how that goes. I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes. Location is a really fascinating social property. Evan
