meta information site?

Don't worry, I am not trying to talk about metadata again:-)

My idea/question is as follows. One of the positive things I see is that
there are a number of sites that are created these days that gather a
particular type of information on Semantic Web. Sites for tutorials,
some registers for ontologies, tools, books, etc. Some of them are good,
some of them are bad, some of them are more or less active, some of them
are dormant.... the usual picture.

One contribution of SWEO might be to simply set up a site which lists
and refers to those. I know that, at least for me, I am lost among those
and I do not which one to go to any more. Having a site that would list

- what they do, maybe categorize them
- of course give a link
- give information whether the data is available in RDF and, if yes,
give a link to that

I do not aim at anything very fancy or complex, but I would also like to
benefit from what other people do (instead of us doing everything). A
simply RDF information for all those sites should of course be available
 (eg, the site can be simply created an maintained in RDFa, so we would
get that for free...)

What do you think?
