I'm not sure the Challenge is the right thing, right now I'm more for a community, so more a Rally. :-) It seems that no-one, including myself, has enough time to take a project to something useable. I think building a community where people can come together over a common goal is likely to be more successful. The problem is that many like to push their own projects, there are always more ideas than coders, and so, there is much w00ting but little contribution of code. As many capable folks sit around with a desire to see the semweb succeed, as we have no little intellectual investment in it, I think that it is important to appeal to the common interest in its success.
