Having noted the issue, I am > happy to drop this suggestion if others are happy with continuing > to call it just "XL". Be careful here. B.1. currently reads: """ Here "the XL data model" refers to the class and property definitions stated in this appendix only. "The SKOS+XL data model" refers to the union of the data model defined in sections 3-10 above and the XL data model. """ I.e. "SKOS+XL" is not used for branding. It is used in the document to make a distinction between the data model specified in appendix B only, and the union of the data model specified in sections 3-10 and the data model specified in appendix B. This distinction is used to illustrate a subtle technical point in section B.3.4.2 (Labeling Integrity). The key point there is that examples 85-88 *are* consistent w.r.t. the XL data model alone, but *are not* consistent w.r.t. the SKOS+XL data model. However, thinking about it again, perhaps making this distinction is not really necessary. If it's not too late, perhaps both branding consistency and technical clarity could be improved by making the following changes: 1. Change the last paragraph of B.1. to: """ Here "the SKOS-XL data model" refers to the union of the SKOS data model (defined in sections 3-10 above) and the class and property definitions stated in this appendix. """ 2. Change the last sentence of the first paragraph of B.3.4.2 to: """ Because of the sub-property chain axioms defined above, the following four examples are not consistent with the SKOS-XL data model. """ 3. Change all mentions of "XL" to "SKOS-XL". 4. Change all mentions of "SKOS+XL" to "SKOS-XL". If there is an opportunity to make these changes, and nobody objects, I'd be happy to take this on as a final editorial task :) Cheers, Alistair > > -- I note that in [2], some "[CITE]" references still need to be > filled in. > > -- In Appendix C, links to the documents needed to be added in C.1, > C.2, and C.3.
