Dear all, The Working Group Note 28 August 2008 for "Best Practice Recipes" [1] cites a version of "Dereferencing HTTP URIs" [2,3] that says: All content has been removed from this version. and At its September 2007 F2F meeting, the TAG concluded that a significant portion of the guidance in this document is also being provided in materials [CoolURI] being developed by the Semantic Web Education and Outreach Interest Group(SWEO). Consequently, the TAG decided not to proceed with this particular draft in its current form. Material in this draft that is not covered by the SWEO document may be used in other TAG publications in future. Following the TAG's notes, it looks like we should perhaps drop this reference and cite perhaps [4] as the final word of the TAG on httpRange-14, as Cool URIs does [5] - or maybe just cite Cool URIs directly. As a Working Group, we can correct a published note if we so decide. For discussion.
