Hi Thomas - would not disagree about supporting a 'Linked Data' approach. Our focus has been at a somewhat higher level on a potential SKOS programmatic interface that might facilitate the development of SKOS based applications and user interfaces - we'd be delighted to see a RESTful version of any SKOS API.
