Hi all, As you are probably aware, I'm currently working at Oxford University, in the Image Bioinformatics Research Group (part of the Zoology Department and the Oxford e-Research Centre). I've take a one-year post to work on a project called "FlyWeb" <http://imageweb.zoo.ox.ac.uk/wiki/index.php/FlyWeb_project>, which is building a prototype data web for fruit fly genomics research data. Because the post is short-term, I've taken a "career break" (a leave of absence) from the Science and Technology Research Council (STFC) where I was working previously. Technically, I'm still an employee of STFC, as well as an employee of Oxford University. W3C rules do not allow a joint affiliation, so I will retain STFC as my formal affiliation for the duration of the SWD Working Group. To make things fair, I also hope to be able to acknowledge the support and time provided by my colleagues at Oxford University and by JISC as funders of the FlyWeb project. Apologies for not explaining this sooner.
