Regrets from me for this week, I have a conflicting conference. A quick update from the RDFa "subcommittee"/task force, which has continued some work over the summer as it is transitioning from the SWBPD WG. - we are working through a number of issues in the RDFa Syntax. - we have a tentative schedule for updating the RDFa Syntax and Primer documents. This schedule is currently posted on our old TF homepage [1] which matches the proposed schedule of this WG. - we have working demos of RDFa parsers as Javascript bookmarklets [2] - we're working on a use-cases and requirements document as per the WG schedule. - we are working on understanding how much of the RDFa syntax can be used in current browsers without breaking anything. This will be useful to sanity-check the use case & requirements document. So far, nothing breaks the rendering in any way, and quite a bit of the specification works and can be parsed as is. -Ben [1] http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/BestPractices/HTML/ [2] http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/BestPractices/HTML/rdfa-bookmarklet/ Guus Schreiber wrote: > > AGENDA Teleconference > W3C Semantic Web Deployment Working Group > Tuesday 10 October 2006, 1500 UTC > 0800 (San Francisco) > 1100 (Boston) > 1600 (London) > 1700 (Amsterdam) > Duration: 60 min > > Bridge: +1.617.761.6200 conference code 79394# ('SWDWG') > IRC Chat: irc:irc.w3.org (port 6665), #swdwg (to be confirmed) > Web-based IRC (member-only): http://www.w3.org/2001/01/cgi-irc > > Chair: Tom Baker / Guus Schreiber > Scribe: tbd > > Please note that attendance of SWD WG telecons is restricted to > registered WG participants and persons invited by the chairs. > > > 1.
