I'd like to suggest that the W3C create a URL scheme (I'm making up that phrase, I hope it doesn't mean something else) for published ontologies and vocabularies. What I need this for now is to publish some of the ontologies in the OEP notes, but I expect several of the other TFs in SWBP will want to publish vocabularies and ontologies, too. Sandro suggested I just use the standard date-based scheme, e.g. http://www.w3.org/2005/08/whatever.owl, however there is a special scheme for notes (http://www.w3.org/TR/whatever) which is much cleaner, and I think we should have the same for vocabs, e.g. http://www.w3.org/vocab. How would we go about this? -Chris Dr. Christopher A.
