[[Note: cc-ed to a publicly archive list, member confidential replies must not use reply to all]] Hello, I have been attempting to co-ordinate a new task force of the Semantic Web Best Practices and Deployment WG to look at a couple of left over issues concerning the use of XML Schema datatypes in RDF and OWL. The current task force description is: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-swbp-wg/2004Apr/0199 The key part is: [[ OBJECTIVES This TF will consider two issues: - what URI should be used within RDF and OWL for user defined XML Schema Datatypes - what is the relationship between the value spaces of the various XML Schema built-in simple types when used within RDF and OWL Resolution of these issues MUST be with consensus of both SWBPDWG and XML Schema WG ]] To try and get this going, I think it would be helpful if I attended an XML Schema WG telecon, to describe what we were trying to do, what we are not trying to do, and how. My objective would be to encourage Schema WG participants to join this TF, and for the Schema WG to co-sponser the TF in its work. Would this be agreeable to you?
