RE: HTML to SVG (XSL)

Back in the early days of SVG this was done, but using code rather than
XSLT. I actually demoed a web page with working links (at a conference)
back around 1999 where the entire "web page" had been converted to SVG and
was rendered using the Adobe SVG Viewer. When I zoomed in and out on parts
of the page there were lots of ooohs and ahhhhs from the audience!

Cheers
Kelvin

Yes, no that is not possible to do.

We do miss you though!

Like, converting an HTML page into an equivalent SVG rendering?
Impossible in general (ignoring the turing tarpit), unless you're okay
with just wrapping the entire contents of the page in an
<svg><foreignObject>...</foreignObject></svg>.
