Hello public-svg-wg, ACTION-2664 Propose wording for the colour section in F1.1 which clarifies which sRGB transfer curve to use sRGB.svg is the transfer curve from sRGB to linear per the IEC spec. sRGB2 is the region of the changeover from linear to curved portions, per the IEC spec with K0 = 0.045045 sRGB3 is the region of the changeover from linear to curved portions, per the W3C spec with the transfer at K0 = 0.03928 Summary - yes there is a discontinuity in the W3C version but it is *extremely* small and not visible at 8-bit resolution. Thus, no change to the spec as long as we reference Amendment A1:2003 to IEC 61966-2-1:1999 and IEC 61966-2-1:1999 -- Chris Lilley mailto:chris@w3.org Technical Director, Interaction Domain W3C Graphics Activity Lead Co-Chair, W3C Hypertext CG
