This is a forwarded message From: Daniel Glazman <daniel.glazman@disruptive-innovations.com> To: "chairs@w3.org" <chairs@w3.org> Date: Wednesday, October 28, 2009, 10:28:58 PM Subject: CSSValue and other DOM L2 Style stuff ===8<==============Original message text=============== Hello chairs, The CSS WG plans to mark obsolete some interfaces in DOM 2 Style. For example, CSSValue interface is not consistently implemented across browsers, and sometimes not implemented at all. Back in 2003, the CSS WG already decided to let the community know about CSSValue. But since it's not indicated in the spec, it's invisible to people willing to implement it... As a matter of fact, the issue was reported to the WG by an implementor. We plan to review all interfaces in that spec and would like to hear from other WGs about (a) _all_ issues they have with this spec (b) the interfaces they explicitely and normatively refer to. That will help us produce a revised spec. Thanks a lot, </Daniel> -- W3C CSS WG, Co-Chair ===8<===========End of original message text=========== -- Chris Lilley mailto:chris@w3.org Technical Director, Interaction Domain W3C Graphics Activity Lead Co-Chair, W3C Hypertext CG
