ISSUE-2269 (remove <cursor>): Consider deprecating the <cursor> element [SVG Core 2.0] http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/WG/track/issues/2269 Raised by: Doug Schepers On product: SVG Core 2.0 The <cursor> element could be replaced by <symbol> combined with <image>, or another existing viewport-establishing element. Depending on how well this element is currently implemented, we should consider not including it in SVG 2.0, but explain instead how to create a cursor using <image> or SVG images.
