I believe mesh should behave like a shape.  In section 4.1.2.4 Implicit
ARIA Semantics shouldn't mesh have the entry below for the Default implied
ARIA semantics column?

 none role provided no associated ‘title’ element, ‘desc’ element, ‘
aria-label’ attribute, ‘aria-labelledby’ attribute, ‘aria-describedby’
attribute; or ‘tabindex’ attribute; otherwise, img role
