Dear Sustainable Web Design Community Group,
I am Jacob Lin, a Research Assistant Fellow from the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research (https://www.tier.org.tw/) which is one of the iconic think tanks in Taiwan. Recently, our team has been assisting the Ministry of Digital Affairs (https://moda.gov.tw/) in Taiwan to implement a project focused on the Net Zero Development of Green Digital Behavior. As part of our initiative, we aim to develop "Voluntary Web Sustainability Design Guidelines" tailored specifically for Taiwanese society. We're aware of the "Web Sustainability Guidelines (WSG) 1.0" launched by the Sustainable Web Design Community Group, which stands as the most comprehensive guideline globally. We'd like to engage in a discussion on this topic.
Moreover, we've noticed the guideline's "Status of This Document" stating that it's inappropriate to cite the document as other than a work in progress. We're curious about the rationale behind this and would appreciate insight into the document's development progress. We're also keen on exploring the feasibility and the possibility of introducing these guidelines in Taiwan. Would it be possible to schedule a one-hour online meeting with you?
Best regards,
Jacob
