Request for comments on the Green Web Foundation's new report

Hi folks,

Hope you’re all safe - we’ve been working on a our first report in a series we’re calling Towards a Fossil Free Internet on the subject of digital sustainability, and I wanted to share it here as a kind of "soft launch” before getting push behind it later in the month - once we’ve given folks a chance to read it and give some feedback.

We’ll be posting a follow up towards the end of the month summarising and responding to the main feedback.

You can see the web first version of the report below:

A request for a webby kind of feedback

This a sustainable web group, and this is a web-first report, so we’ve tried to make the report somewhat webby too.

We’ve used a neat tool, Hypothesis <http://hypothes.is/> to collect feedback and field questions from readers as they work through it (I think it follows the W3C annotation spec, but I’d welcome the corrections if this is not the case)

If you’d be up for giving it a go, I’d appreciate it.

If you want to respond here on this mailing list, or reply directly, that’s cool too - here’s a few question prompts that might help:

1. Which parts did you find helpful, informative?

2. Which parts did you disagree with?

3. Which parts surprised you?

Thanks for your time,

Chris
