Thanks for your interest.  I've been delayed in posting an update to this group that at this stage activity is happening within an IDPF subgroup.  Shortly after we created this community group, the IDPF decided to put some focus in this area based on various presentations and interest at EDUPUB.  Check out:

As we get closer to specifications, this effort may move back into this community group.  Your thoughts are welcome.
