license / attribution SSN / SOSA

my apologies, but I have been trying to figure out the right license and attribution information for SOSA/SSN https://www.w3.org/TR/vocab-ssn/ and am still not sure which they fall under.


I would like to use and slightly extend SOSA/SSN to use it as a knowledgebase. I believe that is an intended use, but am trying to confirm this.


On w3, I see document license, software license, test suite license, questions about open standards versus open software, but I am not actually sure under which category SSN/SOSA falls.


Would be very happy if you could write me a confirming line, and/or point me to the right document/contact.
