web speech API on chromium

Hello,
I really appreciate for your efforts on building the web speech API.

I would like to ask whether it is able to run on embedded chromium
environments such as Electron app.

I'm afraid if google has blocked the use of speech api on embedded chromium
environments, as it isn't working from several months ago. (

I would like to look for whether it is a technical bug or intentionally
restricted.
