Contributions welcome. > Hi all, Quick update on the Solid chat client. Thanks to everyone who helped test. We had over a dozen participants (old and new), which was great to see. We found and fixed a lot of bugs, and the chat feels usable now, though it should still be considered alpha. New since the last note: - Saved messages: a private “message to self”, stored in your pod (currently unencrypted). - Access control: the chat currently allows anonymous participation, but it can be restricted to logged-in users via AuthenticatedAgent. - Next to explore: public and private group chats. If anyone wants to help test this, please let me know. - Longer term: I plan to look next at message signatures and encryption, building on Alain’s work on LongChat pane.
