Hi Michiel,

As the founder of the Solid community pod and having run it for a quarter
of a decade alongside the community (including you!) until I became unwell,
I wanted to share some thoughts.

NSS was very much designed with JavaScript at its core, not TypeScript. In
my view, TypeScript is an entirely different language. The reason I have
always favored, and still favor, JavaScript is its web-native nature and
the fact that it doesn't require a transpiler.

I’d love to see a minimalist, blazing-fast JavaScript server that remains
true to its web-native roots—one that avoids the need for a compiler,
scales effectively, and performs exceptionally well.

Best

Melvin
