Hi James

I think if your company (Diaphanous) is a W3C member they could nominate
you.  If they are not a W3C member, they could join the W3C.

Alternatively, and I may be wrong here, it may be possible to get invited
as an expert.

Hopefully I have that right, but if there's an error, feel free to contact
