I'm unsure that this will gain traction, but thanks for the food for
thought.  Let's see

I'll suggest that it is desirable in this group (but not a must) for chat
messages to have bookmarkable hyperlinks

Zulip offers that, but with an overloading of the '#' character which is
generally used differently in Solid

Matrix/Element, from what I have seen, has a share link, again with a '#'
character that will redirect you to open a client

There might be a matrix client and server with stable URIs tho, I'm not so
familiar with that world
