Thank you to all who volunteered.

Some observations:

1. All 3 (100%) of the chairs are either current or former inrupters
2. The former lone chair was either a current or former inrupter (100%)
3. The lone chair before that was an inrupter (100%)
4. A super majority of the applicants were inrupters or former inrupters
5. Tie-breaker decisions go to the director who is Inrupt CTO
6. The charter was drafted by a current or former inrupter
7. The WG has at least 50% inrupter or former inrupter
8. The Code of Conduct committee is super majority inrupters (I think)
9. Inrupt, while not present at the formation of this group, when I started
it, is by far the largest voting block.

That is not to say it's a bad thing. And I also appreciate some have moved
on from inrupt, some for over a year.

When I started this group, I stood down as chair and allowed the group to
select 2 diverse chairs, and then let the group take its own course.

While I dont have any say now, the group will indeed take its own course.
Could I ask for some compromise and diversity.

1. Would it be possible to give Mattias some elevated responsibility to
help him learn about charging a group, if he would like that. Perhaps
create a vice-chair role that people could step into and learn. Lead a
telecon. Scribe a little. Propose some new initiatives. Could this
perhaps be an agenda topic for a future meeting?

2. When the WG is formed, can the structure give someone else a chance that
might not have worked for inrupt, recently. Or keep it as 50/50, as it is
now.

When John started inrupt he said that solid would be in a better position
now, than it was then. And he's been true to his word. Solid might not
exist today without inrupt, so we owe them a big thank you.

Similarly I am sure that the new chairs will skillfully manage wearing
different hats, while having obligations to Inrupt though employment or NDA
etc. I'd ask them to consider encouraging a diverse and inclusive approach.

Wishing the new chairs lots of luck. When I started this group, I didnt
imagine where it could be now. So a big thank you, and hoping for a great
start to a new era.
