Differences Between Published Recommendations and Current Drafts

Since the ActivityPub and Activity Streams 2.0 specifications were
published, the Social Web Community Group has maintained errata for the
documents. We have one errata document for both Activity Streams 2.0 Core
and Vocabulary:

And a separate errata document, as a wiki page, for ActivityPub:

Implementers and community members identified these errata as issues in the
corresponding GitHub repositories. I have reviewed these issues and
prepared candidate errata for the community group to approve. We have used
consensus decision making to approve items, either through straw polls in
synchronous group meetings or via asynchronous calls for consensus (CFC) on
the public-swicg mailing list.

In the November 2023 CG meeting, we decided to maintain a "living spec"
which incorporates the Errata.

Since that time, when I have added an erratum to the Errata list, I have
also updated the corresponding text in the relevant draft. Each draft can

These are the differences between the documents as published and the
drafts. There are some differences due to how reSpec renders content
dynamically, sometimes showing the same word or words as "removed" and then
"re-added". If any of these seems confusing, please let me know.

I've reviewed all the errata and believe they have all been applied to the
living specs, but I would appreciate your review.
